Jimmie Ruth Dirks, 83, passed away Wednesday, September 18, 2013. Visitation 2-8 p.m. Sunday, at Smith Family Mortuary, 1415 N. Rock Rd., Derby. Funeral service 10 a.m. Monday, at Pleasantview Baptist Church, 1335 N. Buckner, Derby. Jimmie Ruth was preceded in death by her son, Daniel Dirks. Survived by husband Johnny; daughter Diane (Kevin) Madden; daughter-in-law Charlotte (Cameron) Kliewer; grandchildren Stephanie Madden, Jonathan, David and Andrew Dirks; and brother Ray (Linda) Stephens. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established with Grace Sunday School Class at Pleasantview Baptist Church.
