Jerry Dale Gean , age 66, of Mulvane, retired Technical Illustrator at Beech Aircraft, passed away Friday, January 12, 2018. Visitation 1-8 pm Monday, January 15, with family receiving friends 5-7 pm Smith Mortuary, 1415 N. Rock Rd., Derby. Funeral service 3 pm Tuesday, Woodlawn United Methodist Church, 431 S Woodlawn Blvd, Derby. Interment will follow at El Paso Cemetery. Jerry is preceded in death by his parents, Calvin and Elwanda Gean, and his father-in-law, Joe Gasaway. Survivors include his wife, Marilyn; daughters, Carrie Dixson (Larry), of Mulvane, Kristi Gean, of Derby; brothers, Danny Gean (Valorie), Thomas Gean (Jerri), all of Derby; grandchildren, Morgan and Ryan Dixson; mother-in-law, Mildred Gasaway, of Derby; brother-in-law, Ed Gasaway, of Derby; sister-in-law, Patty Gerwick (Larry), of Mulvane; and many special nieces and nephews.
