Anderson, Jerome Richard “Jerry,” 58, passed away Friday, May 1, 2015. Jerry was a devoted Christian and has joined his Father in Heaven. A celebration of Jerry’s life will be held May 16 at The Sage Farm, west of Conway Springs (contact Debra for more details). Second to his love for Debra was Jerry’s love for the blues. He was organizer/leader of two bands in Houston, TX: Little Lick & the Blue Trojans, and Little Lick & the Swing Kats. He went on to play with various other artists, and is featured on Big Red & the Soul Benders’ album titled “Under the Delta Moon” as a harmonica player. He was a loving father, soul mate, and friend. Preceded in death by his father, Richard Anderson. Survived by best friend and soulmate, Debra Shiney; mother Jane Anderson; sister Didi Anderson; brothers Mike (Melanie) Anderson, Patrick (Kathy) Anderson, Chris Anderson; and sons Nicolas Anderson, Curtis Gates, and Kyle Gates. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established with The PAT (Performers’ Assistance Trust) Fund, c/o Dee Hess at 1151 Patricia, Wichita, Kansas, 67208.
