Haysville - Wilson, Jeffrey Lynn
61, passed away Sunday, December 15th, 2024. He was born May 28th, 1963 in Abilene, Kansas.
Jeff was the youngest of their 3 children. He loved spending time with his older brother Rick tinkering on a project (one of the many) when he would come spend the weekend at the ponderosa. Jeff loved his sister Sue's home cooking, especially her homemade cinnamon rolls.
Jeff was a devoted husband to Donna Jo, and had just celebrated their 37th Wedding Anniversary on December 12th! He was a loving father to his children Mark (Danielle) and Sarah (Braden) and adored his grandchildren Jayden, Miah, Ayden, Gavin, and Ava Mae. His family was his greatest joy, and he cherished every moment with them.
Jeffrey loved the outdoors, tinkering (supervising) the many projects he had, and being surrounded by his stuff. He had a gift of fixing anything, sometimes stuff that didn't need to be fixed. He spent many of his years involved in The Boy Scouts of America where he pushed his son Mark to become an eagle scout. He was proud to teach Sarah how to change the oil in her car, and the importance of staying out of debt. He loved watching mom in her garden. He was proud of the place they called home.
Jeff's legacy is one of love, hard work, and quiet strength. He showed us how to face challenges, cherish family, and take pride in creating something meaningful. Though he's no longer with us on earth, his spirit lives on in the memories we hold, the lessons he taught, and the family he built.
Rest peacefully, Jeff, Dad, Papa. You will always be loved and remembered.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth Wilson and Beverly Page
Jeffrey is survived by his wife, Donna Jo (Otis) Wilson; children, Mark (Danielle) Wilson, Sarah (Braden Miller) Magness; grandchrildren, Jayden, Miah, Ayden, Gavin, Ava Mae; siblings, Richard Wilson and Sue Nelson
