Ottawa - Pyle, Jaynice Lynn, 76, passed away Tuesday, September 14, 2021. She was born December 29, 1944 to Robert E. Unkel and Alice M. Unkel in Sioux City, Iowa. During her childhood, her family relocated to Derby, Kansas where she spent many of her years. Jaynice enjoyed spending time with her family, cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs, Traveling to San Diego, California for relaxing vacations, and reading books.


She was preceded in death by her Mother, Father and 2 Brothers Robin Unkel and Daryl Unkel.


Jaynice is survived by her husband Leo C. Pyle, 3 children Paul A. Fowler (Crystal), Jay C. Fowler (Jennifer), Julie L. Kimbro (Cole), 5 Step-Children Tammy L. Francis (Jon), Tina M. Tate (Olen), Daniel C. Pyle (Machelle), Becky A. Perry, Dustin A. Pyle, 22 Grandchildren, 4 Great Grandchildren, 5 Brothers and 1 Sister.


Visitation: Friday, September 17, 2021, from 8:30 am to 10:00 am at Smith Family Mortuary Chapel 1415 N. Rock Rd. Derby, Kansas 67037. Funeral Service: 10:00 am, Friday, September 17, 2021 at Smith Family Mortuary Chapel 1415 N. Rock Rd. Derby, Kansas 67037. Interment to follow at Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Wichita.
