Janet Lynn “Sue” Harper, Textron Aircraft Employee; born in Okay, Okla. July 4, 1951, to Marjorie Ellen and Wilton Paul Raney, went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, February 22, 2017, after an extensive battle with cancer. As she often said, “Thank you Lord for blessing me more then I deserve”. Funeral is at 11:00AM Monday, Feb. 27, 2017, at Glorious Life Church, 230 Fernell St. in Derby, KS. Visitation 4-8pm Sunday, at Smith Mortuary - Derby, 1415 N. Rock Road. She is preceded in death by her parents; a son; and a brother. Sue is survived by her children, Terry Harper of Derby; Jessie (Tony) Hays of Wichita; grandchildren, Dax Harper, Drake Patterson, Hunter, Hadley and Hagen Hays; sister, Mary (Larry) Vandegrift of Rose Hill; brothers, William (Shirley) Raney of Derby, John Raney, Hank (Cher) Raney both of Wichita, Billy (Shirley) Raney of Rose Hill; numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and many friends. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to Victory in the Valley, 3755 E Douglas Ave, Wichita, KS 67218.
