Janet E. Alexander

On January 3, 2025, Janet Earlene Alexander (Queen) earned her wings surrounded by her children and loved ones. Janet was the matriarch of the Queen family.

She was born 0n Febuary 16, 1939 in Independance, Mo. to her parents Raymond Earl Queen (Earl Raymond Queen) and Ruth Elizabeth Queen (Black).

She was the eldest of 18 children: Janet, Raymond, Virginia, David, Ruth, Linda, Ivan, Jessie, James, Kathryn, Mary, Barbara, Anita, Paul, Gloria, Judy, Brian and Teresa.

She raised 10 children and one stepson: Ralph, Thomas, Mark, Michael, Maureen, David, Joseph, Robert, John Jr, Christopher and Angela.

She had 38 grandchildren: Frances, Daniel, Clarissa, Elizabeth, Rachel, Jacklynn, Thomas Jr, Holllie, Kellianne, Jeffrey, Valerie, Emily, Timothy, Cortney, Skyler, Katrina, Jennifer, Michael Jr, Heather, Andrew, Nathaniel, Brandy, Amanda, Brian, Samantha, Precious, Jasia, Derianna, Grace, Joshua, Sheldon, Alyson, Ashley, Kylie, Lilly, Christopher Jr, Jsaquan and Nevaeh.

She also had 53 great grandchidren, and 5 great great granchildren.

Janet's final resting place will be at the Greenwood Cemetery, located at 6231 W. 47th St. South, Wichita, KS. 67215
