73, passed away Sunday, June 25th, 2023. She was born June 16th, 1950 to Maurice Wilson and Thelma Roberts Wilson in Wichita, Kansas.


After graduating from West High School, she went on to attend Wichita State University earning a degree in Secretarial Science in 1972. In 1970 she married Gary Welsh at St. Joseph Catholic Parish in Wichita. When her children became school age, she became a Paraprofessional for the Maize School District and taught braille to the visually impaired.


Jane was an avid reader and would enjoy reading any book she could get her hands on...especially Stephen King novels. She had a passion for music, playing the piano and the violin. She loved her Shocker Basketball and was a Yankee Baseball enthusiast. She adored her children more than life and cherished her time with her coworkers and friends.


She was preceded in death by her son, Christopher Michael Welsh; parents, O.M. and Thelma Wilson; sister, Deanna Marie Wilson.


Jane is survived by her husband of 53 years, Gary Welsh; children, Matthew Scott Welsh and Sara Marie Welsh; brother, Michael Wilson; and numerous other family and friends.


Memorial Graveside Service: 10 am, Monday, July 3rd, 2023 at Resurrection Cemetery, 1640 N. Maize Road, Wichita, Kansas.
