Bel Aire - Engels, Jane Ann,
91, passed away Saturday, April 3rd, 2021. She was born July 4th, 1929 to Maurice and Helena (Warren) Higgins in Wichita, Kansas. Jane was a graduate of Cathedral High School in Wichita.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Pat G. Engels of Derby; daughter, Jeanie Provenzano, of Wichita.
Jane is survived by her children, John A. Engels (Janetta), Julie Alliman (Doug), Pat M. Engels (Susan), all of Wichita; nine grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Friday, April 9th, 2021, from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Smith Mortuary, 1415 North Rock Road, Derby, Kansas 67037. A Rosary will begin after visitation at 7 pm. Mass of Christian Burial: 10:00 am, Saturday, April 10th, 2021 at St. Mary Catholic Church, 2300 E. Meadowlark Derby, KS 67037. Interment to follow at Calvary Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary Catholic Church of Derby or to Harry Hynes Hospice.
