James (Jim) W. Warren, 61, of Peck, Kansas, passed away at home on November 13, 2024.
Born on September 10, 1963, at Ramey Air Force Base in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico, Jim was the cherished son of Larry J. Warren and Nancy J. (Chase) Warren.
Jim spent nearly his entire life in Kansas, where he graduated from South High School in Wichita in 1981. During his high school years, he was a member of the National Honor Society, reflecting his dedication to academic excellence.
Jim was a devoted husband to Sharon Miklos, with whom he shared 23 wonderful years of marriage. He was a loving son to his mother, Nancy; and is survived by her, his wife Sharon, and his beloved Newfoundland, Merlin. Jim was preceded in death by his father, Larry J. Warren and his grandparents, Roy and Edna Chase.
A man of many passions, Jim had a deep love for cars. He spent countless hours restoring and building car projects, a hobby that brought him immense joy. He was also an avid fan of 80's long hair bands as well as 1950's music.
Professionally, Jim dedicated most of his adult life to Spirit/Boeing, where he worked diligently until his retirement at the age of 55. His commitment to his work and his colleagues was unwavering.
Jim's warmth, kindness, and enthusiasm will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made in Jim's name to the Wichita Animal Action League, honoring his love for animals.
