Haysville – Walker, James “Jim”, age 83, passed away Wednesday, May 18, 2011. Visitation 1-8pm Sunday, May 22nd, with family present 6-8pm at Smith Mortuary, 7031 S. Broadway, Haysville. Funeral service 10am Monday, May 23rd, at the First Christian Church of Haysville, 7465 S. Meridian. Jim was a WWII veteran and retired after 31 years of service with Cessna Aircraft. He was Past Master of Haysville Masonic Lodge 112, avid hunter and fisherman and loved his dog Buddy and 2 cats. Jim was preceded in death by his parents, James and Mary Walker; first wife, Wanda Walker; 4 siblings. He is survived by his wife of 14 years, Ruth Walker; daughter, Cathy (Les) Howland; step-daughters, Judy Bell, Jan (Sean) McDowell and Joyce (Dennis) Smith; grandchildren, Jerry (Mindy) Howland and Tommy (Kristin) Howland; step-grandchildren, Justin (Allison) Bell, Joey (Lisa) Bell, Coby (Ronda) Cady, Jason (Jennifer) Cady, Shiela Kough, Lisa (Doug) Johnson and Rebecca Heaton; 25 great-grandchildren; brother, Faye Walker; nephews, Roby (Shirley) Walker and Toby (Rita) Walker.
