Jim Turkle

Turkle, Jim, 87, passed away Wednesday, June 28th, 2023. He was born February 12th, 1936 to Frank and Vera Muriel Turkle, in rural Mulvane, Kansas

He was preceded in death by his wife, Kay, parents; son-in-law, Marc Huslig; siblings, Frances Christian, Jeanne Yoakum, Lindy Chamberlain, Tom Turkle, and Joanne Breaker.

Jim is survived by his daughters, Jan (Mike) Coppinger, Kathy (Phil) Mailloux, Teri Huslig; sister, Mary (Duane) Erickson; brothers-in-law, John Allen Booth and Darvin Breaker; grandchildren, Brian and Kayleigh Coppinger, Phillip (Kari) Mailloux, Mitch (Charlotte) Mailloux, Laurell (Logan) Aschbrenner, Tom (Jocelyn) Mailloux, Sam Mailloux, and Dan Mailloux, Taylor (Tyler) Cotner, Madison, Matthew, and Reagan Huslig; great-grandchildren, Jackson, Paige, Sydney, Claire, Landon, Owens, Leo and two more expected later this year; loving extended family including, multiple nieces and nephews.

Visitation is 6:00 to 8:00 pm Thursday, July 6th and funeral service is 10:00 am Friday, July 7th, 2023 both at Smith Mortuary, Mulvane, 501 SE Louis Blvd, Mulvane, Kansas 67110. Interment to follow at Mulvane Cemetery.
