James P. Townson

The Reverend James P. Townson, age 75, retired Pastor, Harvest Chapel Community Church, retired Boeing Company employee and Wichita and Sedgwick County Chaplain, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Thursday, September 17, 2015. No Visitation. Memorial service 3 PM Saturday, September 26, Harvest Chapel Community Church, 1101 W. 55th St. So., Wichita. Jim is preceded in death by his parents, Evvie & Nelle Townson; and a grandson, Michael James Moore. Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Sharon; daughters, Tanya Aitken (Dennis), of Aurora, NE, Terra Johnston (Mark), of Castle Rock, CO, Tasha Moore (Rodney), of Haysville, and Trema McLemore (Steve), of Mulvane; brother, Gary E. Townson ( Sharon), of Rose Hill; grandchildren, Jennifer Fiedler (Ben), Bryan Aitken, Jared, David and Douglas (Peyton) Johnston, Taylor Moore (Kaela), Mason Moore (Chelsea), James and Jennafer McLemore; great-grandchidlren, Maggie and Myla Moore.
