DOUGLASS- Polk, James K. “Jim”, age 83, passed away Tuesday, September 20th, 2011. No visitation. Memorial service 2pm Friday, September 23rd, at the First Christian Church, 303 E. Fourth St., Douglass, KS. Jim was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Dorothy Polk; brothers, Frank and William Polk; sister, Juanita McCune. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, TomElla Polk; children, Lynda (Dane) Nixon, Cheri (Bill) Bush, Carla (Lonnie) Moody, James C. Polk and Patty Polk; grandchildren, Dana (Jon) Pierce, Jennifer (Ken) Barton, Shondell (Kevin) Raney, Jon Pinkerton, Brian (Dawn) Bush, Brandy (Kurt) Dietz, Justin Moody, Tom (Nicole) Polk and Athena Polk; great-grandchildren, Alisha Raney, Corwin Nixon, Jake Pinkerton, Trevor Barton, Harli Bush, Hayley Bush, Jayla Pinkerton, Katie Polk, Tristen Polk and Solly Dietz; siblings, Raymond (Shirley) Polk and Freda (Lewis) Gillum.
