James A. Mitchell, age 65, passed away July 15, 2016. Visitation 1-8pm, family greeting 5-7pm on Tuesday, July 19, at Smith Mortuary- Derby 1415 N. Rock Road. Funeral 10:00 AM Wednesday, at Rose Hill United Methodist Church, 19551 SW. Butler Rd. Rose Hill, KS. James is survived by his wife, Mary Kay; daughter, Dawn (Keith) Rundle; mother, Lois Mitchell; brothers, Jon (Sue) Mitchell, Joe Mitchell; grandchildren, Kayla, Karissa, and Bryce Rundle; nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father, William; step-son, Bernie Oeding. In lieu of flowers, a memorial is with the Derby Golf and Country Club 2600 Triple Creek Drive Derby, Kansas 67037.
