James Andrew Jackson, Jr

James Andrew Jackson, Jr, born March 23, 1944, in Elgin Kansas, passed away March 1, 2023.

Preceded in death by his wife of 30 years, Barbara Jean; son-in-law, William Ty Graham and great-granddaughter Addison Graham.

He is survived by Ronnie Lee (Misti) Jackson, Connie (Becker) Jackson, Jeanette Graham, several grandchildren Zachery, Megan, Jeremy, Levi, David, Andie, James Thomas, Ciarra and great-grandchildren Jolee, Alistair, Luna, Kaylee and Shelby.

After receiving an honorable discharge from the United States Air Force in 1968, James was employed at Cessna Aircraft until he retired in 2006 as a flight line mechanic.

Dad enjoyed his retirement by working on cars with his grandchildren and getting ice cream cones with his dog Lucky by his side. He was a helpful, generous kind man who would never turn away a request for help. His neighbors echo the same sentiment, “He was the best neighbor you could ask for."

James’ celebration of life will be held in Pawhuska, Oklahoma at a date to be determined.
