James Robert Harden

Harden, James Robert, 68, passed away Sunday, July 13, 2014. He was born in Halley, AR to Arley R. and MaryLou Zallen (Curtis) Harden. James graduated from Derby High School in 1964. He retired from Boeing/Spirit Aerosystems in Quality Assurance in 2011 after 32 years of service. He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Jesse Furr, William Harden, George Harden, and Lola Herman. James is survived by his wife, Lorain; son, Chris (Staci) Harden; step-children, Katrina (Russ) Gann, Matthew Henning, and Brooke Henning; grandchildren Matthew, Andrew, Treson, Jaleb, Brennon, Ryker, and Presley; siblings, Wilburn (Marty) Harden, Helen Taylor, and Floy (Bob) Hough; and many beloved nieces and nephews. Visitation: Wednesday, 9 am to 4 pm with family present between 1 and 4 pm at Smith Mortuary in Derby. Graveside service: 11 am, Thursday, July 17, 2014 at Branson Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Amedisys Hospice of Wichita or Greenwich Road Church of Christ. Friends are also encouraged to plant a tree in memory of James.
