James Monroe Gilmore, 84, passed away Monday, November 18, 2024. He was born August 28, 1940 to Billy Monroe and Ferne Naomi (McComak) Gilmore in Galena, Kansas.
Preceded in death by his wife Darlene and his parents. He is survived by three children Michael Gilmore, William (Tina) Gilmore, and Lesley (Jim) Eliasen; granddaughter Morgan (Tarent) Tevis; great-granddaughter Lorelei Tevis; great-grandson Thatcher Tevis; siblings Lloyd (Cindy) Gilmore and Andrew (Carlene) Gilmore.
Graveside to be announced at Russell, Kansas.
A memorial has been established with the Derby Lodge #365 AF&AM, 125 E. Market St., Derby, KS 67037.
