James Lee, “Jim” Ford, age 77, of Douglass, retired Plumber and Pipefitter Local Union #441, passed away, Monday, July 2, 2012. No visitation. Memorial service 2 PM Friday, July 6, 2012, First Christian Church, 303 E. 4th St., Douglass. Jim is preceded in death by his parents, James & Opal Ford; sister, Donna Mitchell and an infant daughter. Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Marilyn; sons, Jim Jr. (Mary), of Wichita, John (Terri), of Douglass; daughters, Diana (Trini) Finley, of El Dorado, Ronda (Monte) Cockrell, of Douglass; brother, Gale Ford, of Sanger, TX; 9 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
