James Edward Anderson

James Edward Anderson (Jim) was Born in Llano, Texas on October 24, 1931, and passed away peacefully on June 4, 2026 at Brookdale Assisted Living, in Derby. 

Jim moved to Arkansas around the age of 10. He came to Wichita looking for work, applied at Boeing, and retired from there after 40 years of service, 

He married the love of his life, Bonnie in 1954 who he met at Boeing. She preceded him in death in 2011. 

He is survived by children Sandy (Gary) Schmidt, Steve ( Linda ) Anderson, Clint Anderson and Phil (Sherry) Anderson, Grandchildren, Jacob, Bryan, Rachel, Colten, Cara, Tyler, Sterling, and Hayden, 6 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild, his sister Linda Austin, and niece and nephews. 

There will be a graveside service for family.
