James E. Dunning, Jr, 66, of the Rosehill area passed away on Wednesday, September 24th 2025.

Born on October 27 th 1958 in Manhattan KS. Jim was the beloved son of James and Beverly Dunning Sr. He shared a close bond with his sister Tanya Dunning.

Jim had a deep love of baseball, both as a participant and as a fan ( GO YANKEES!). He also enjoyed hunting.. in his younger days, pursuing pheasant and quail and later deer. He was dedicated to community service, lending his expertise in accounting and finance to various nonprofit boards. One of his greatest joys was working alongside of his father.

Jim is survived by his loving wife Jill, with whom he shared 43.83 years of marriage, his parents and sister.

Memorial service is 10:00 am Wednesday, October 1, 2025 at Riverlawn Christian Church, 4243 N Meridian Ave, Wichita, KS 67204.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Prairie View Christian Camp, the National Baseball Congress and Victory in the Valley. Details for donations are as follows:
