Dunn, James E. "Jimmy," Jr., 47, passed away Thursday, March 3, 2016. Visitation Wednesday, 1-8 p.m., family present 4-6, at Smith Family Mortuary, 1415 N. Rock Rd., Derby. Funeral service 2 p.m. Thursday, at Midway Baptist Church, 5135 S. Broadway. Interment to follow at Udall Cemetery. Jimmy was a very loving, caring, and gentle person, which was evidenced by his work as a Certified Nurse Assistant at Westview Manor of Derby. He enjoyed country music and sports, especially the Kansas City Chiefs and the Derby Panthers. He was also a longtime member of Midway Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, James, Sr. and Joyce; sister Cindy and brother Aaron. Survived by siblings Ed (Cathy) Dunn, Scott (Lisa) Dunn, Charlie Dunn, Kim (Don) Shipley, Debra (Shek) Weber, Jason (Monica) Dunn, and Crystal (Chris) Vannatta, and twelve nieces and nephews.
