James George DePriest, age 63, passed away Sunday, November 22, 2015. Memorial service 10am Monday, November 30, 2015 at Smith Mortuary, 1415 N Rock Rd, Derby. Preceded in death by father, J.T. DePriest. Survivors: children, Jessica Hess (Matt), Zach DePriest, and Brandon DePriest; two grandchildren; mother, Verna DePriest; two siblings, Cordelia Thomas (Bill) and Frank DePriest (Haidee); four half siblings, Ron DePriest (Von), Alta Jones, Joyce Penrod (John), and June DePriest; many nieces and nephews. Memorials to Special Olympics Kansas, 5280 Foxridge Dr, Mission, KS 66202.
