James Leroy Dennis

James Leroy Dennis, 92, was born December 30, 1931 in Claremore, Oklahoma, and passed from this life March 18, 2024 at his home in Douglass, KS. Leroy moved to Douglass to work at the Boeing Co., and also worked at the Douglass school before returning to Boeing until retirement.

He was happily married for 47 years to Joan Dennis (dec’d), and was married to Lucretia Dennis for his last eight wonderful years. He has three children, Mary, Renee, and Randy; six grandchildren, Vondell, Mitch, James R., Charlie, Kellie, and Josh; eight great-grandchildren; one sister, Louise.

Casual dress is requested at Graveside services being held 1:00pm Friday, March 29, in the Douglass Cemetery. A memorial is established with the Douglass Lodge #151 AF&AM.
