James Stephen Bond

Bond, James Stephen, 67, passed away April 10, 2015. He was born May 3, 1947 in Columbia, MS. James was a die-hard Ole Miss fan, trained and showed horses his whole life, enjoyed collecting antique advertisements, and was an active member of St. Mary Parish.

He was very kind with a sly sense of humor that many will remember him by. He was preceded in death by his father, Roscoe Bond; and sisters, Patricia Ann Drennan, Fae Bond Malloy, and Belinda Nell Bond. James is survived by his mother, Juanita Bond; daughters, Megan Bond and Heather Bond; brother, Major (Linda) Bond; step-grandchildren, Kayla Salerno and Derek Salerno; nephews, Shawn Drennan, Josh Sperry, Aaron Sperry, Ryan Meyers, and Kevin Meyers; niece, Kaytee Malloy, brother-in-law, Sam Drennan; and a large extended family.

Rosary and Liturgy of the Word: 10:30 am, Saturday, April 18, 2015 at St. Mary Faith Center, 2300 E. Meadowlark Rd., Derby, KS 67037. Inurnment will take place at a later date in Oloh Baptist Cemetery, Oloh, MS. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary Faith Center.
