James Ashton

James “Jim” Ashton, 62, Mulvane schoolteacher, passed away Thursday, August 22, 2013. He is survived by his wife, Louise; mother, Mary Esther; children, Kristin Dean (Bruce), Brett Dearmore (Ashley), Heather Ashton; siblings, John Ashton (Marcia), Jerry Ashton (Jeanne); grandchildren, Harley and Jullian Dean; numerous other family members. He is preceded in death by his father, James. Visitation Monday 1-8pm, family present 6-8pm at Smith Mortuary Derby, 1415 N. Rock Road. Funeral service held 10am Tuesday, August 27th at First Baptist Church Mulvane, 1020 N. 2nd Ave, Mulvane. Memorial established with Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice.
