James G. Adams

James “Jim” G. Adams, of Wichita, 81, retired Air Force, died peacefully surrounded by his family at home on Tuesday, March 15, 2016. He was born August 14, 1934 to Kenneth and Edith (Sethney) Adams in Barrett, MN. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Dwaine and Robert Adams; sister, Joan Gober; and granddaughter, Jessica Adams. James is survived by his wife, Lois; daughters, Tammie (Lee) Hatfield and Kimberly (Bill) Setchell; sons, Randy (Laura) Adams and Gregory (Diana Lewis) Adams; 13 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and siblings, Sandi Tonyan and Mark Pomerenke. Visitation: Sunday, 5 to 7 pm at Culbertson-Smith Mortuary, 115 S. Seneca, Wichita, KS. Funeral: 10 am, Monday, March 21, 2016 at Bethany Lutheran Church. Interment to follow at Resthaven Cemetery.
