Jack B. Talbott

Jack B. Talbott, age 90, of Derby, retired Boeing Company employee and retired Colonel, US Army, passed away Tuesday, March 17, 2015. Visitation 1-8 PM Monday and Tuesday, with family receiving friends 5-7 PM Tuesday, Smith Mortuary, 1415 N. Rock Rd., Derby. Funeral service 10 AM Wednesday, March 25, First Presbyterian Church, 324 N. Baltimore, Derby. Jack is a WWII veteran and a member of the Military Officers Association, Restoration of “DOC” B29, Reserve Officers Association, Derby Historical Society Board and was very involved in his church. He is preceded in death by his parents, Allan & Vivian Talbott, and his brother, Robert. Survivors include his wife of 66 years, Mary; daughter, Jacquelyn Holt (Lynn), of Derby; son, Charles (Carol), of Houston, TX; grandchildren, Shane Schott (Kari), Crystal Grasser (Todd), Emily and James Talbott; great-grandchildren, Taylor and Addisyn Grasser, Alexis and Joci Schott.
