Jack Joseph Rudner

Jack Joseph Rudner, 73, of Derby, Kansas, passed away peacefully on May 14, 2026. He was born on September 13, 1952, in Tampa, Florida, to Marvin and Cleonicia Rudner.

Jack had a passion for life and the things that filled it with joy. He loved aviation and the freedom of the open road on his motorcycle. Music was a constant in his life, and he had a gift for the keyboard that he loved sharing with those around him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Marvin and Cleonicia Rudner.

Jack is survived by his loving wife, Flora; his sons, John (Ashley) Rudner and Mike (Jessica) Rudner; his grandchildren, Alexis, Chloe, and Hailey, daughters of John and Ashley, and Rosie, daughter of Mike and Jessica; and his sisters, Becki and Marlene.

Visitation will be held from 5:00–7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at Smith Family Mortuary – Derby. A funeral service will follow at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, at Smith Family Mortuary, 1415 N. Rock Rd., Derby, Kansas 67037.
