Ivan Allen Scott

Ivan Allen Scott, 64, passed away Sunday, September 19, 2021 at Wesley Derby Emergency Hospital in Derby, Kansas. He was born August 12, 1957 to Ivan L. Scott and Mary E. (Zabel) Scott in Wellington, Kansas.

Ivan was a veteran as he served in the U.S. Army for 5 1/2 years. He was a devoted father, brother, grandfather, and friend to many. Ivan's greatest joy was to spend time with his family and friends, especially his grandson who was his pride and joy.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his nephew, Damon Scott.

Ivan is survived by his sons; Trenton and Shane Scott; Brothers, Harry "Chuck" (Barbara) Scott, Douglas "Doug" Scott, John Eldon (Kathy) Scott, Shane (Stephanie) Scott; Sisters, Leona "Lee" Scott Hatfield (Steve), Mary Linda Scott Polk (Bill), Sharon Kay Scott Lewis (Pat) and one grandchild, Noah Scott.

Visitation: Sunday, September 26, 2021, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Hatfield-Smith Funeral Home 219 W. 2nd Ave, Belle Plaine, Kansas. Funeral Service: 11:00 am, Monday, September 27, 2021 at First Baptist Church, 612 N Linden Street, Belle Plaine, Kansas. Cremation will follow the service, there will be no interment.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
