Irma Provines

Provines, Irma Vernell (Craft), 88, homemaker, passed away on September 15, 2021. She was born to James and Knelphie B. (Kemp) Craft in Harrison, Arkansas on June 7, 1933. On December 14, 1951, Irma married the love of her life, Wesley. Irma was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was a seamstress and baker that paid serious attention to detail. Irma was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, James Craft, Jr., and Gerald Craft; and sister, Bobbie Lincoln. She is survived by her husband, Wesley, three months short of their 70th Wedding Anniversary; brother, Wayne (Carolyn) Craft; son, Ronald (Debbie) Provines; grandsons, Brandon (Jessica) Provines, and Tyler (Tamra) Provines; granddaughter, Lindsey (Matthew) Seimears; 9 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 12:00 pm to 7:00 pm, on Monday, September 20, 2021 at Smith Family Mortuary, 1415 N. Rock Road, Derby, Kansas 67037. Funeral service is 10:00 am, Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at First Presbyterian Church, 324 N. Baltimore, Derby, Kansas 67037. A memorial has been established with Heartland Home Health & Hospice, 2872 N. Ridge Road #122, Wichita, Kansas 67205.
