Irma Ruth Gates

Derby – Gates, Irma Ruth 94, passed away Thursday, October 2, 2014. She was born July 27, 1920 to William T. and Eunice M. (Boatright) Davis in Stratford, OK. On March 8, 1942 Ruth married Quinten Gates in Mangum, OK. Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and a sister Billy Jo Davis. She is survived by her daughters, Billy (Marvin) Landes, Derby, and Toni (David) Keenan, Thornton, CO.; grandchildren, Joanne Guthrie, Cindy Cole, Brian Magnum, Aaron Landes, Ashlea Schwarz; great-grandchildren, Courtney Tenbrink, James Guthrie, Adrianna Healy, Mathias Guthrie, Willow Mangum, Shelby and Brandon Davis, Adalyn Sheahan-Landes, Rylea Kate and Ella Quin Schwarz, Danielle, Sean Tuttle and Aden Tuttle; great-great-grandchildren, Orion and Zach Tenbrink. Visitation: Sunday, October 5th, from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Smith Family Mortuary, 1415 N. Rock Rd., Derby, KS 67037. Funeral: Monday, October 6th, at 1 p.m. at Woodlawn United Methodist Church, 431 S.
