Irene “Rene” Lahman, 91, passed away September 26, 2016. She was born July 29, 1925 to William and Alice (Hardy) Lakeman in London, England. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Karen Skelton; and brothers, Reggie and Jack Lakeman. Irene is survived by her children, Ron Lahman and Janet (Joe) Allard; grandchildren, Lisa, Allen, Kevin, Sarah, Kelly, Christine, Lori, Kim, Michael, and Meghan; 21 great grandchildren; and siblings, Nancy Lakeman, Marie Fielding, Ron and Bill Lakeman. Visitation: Saturday, October 1, 2016 from 2 to 5 pm at Smith Family Mortuary, 1415 N. Rock Rd., Derby, KS.
