Inez Lorraine Damon

Inez Lorraine Damon, former cosmetologist and homemaker, went home on March 21, 2017. She was born at Douglass, KS. February 17, 1929. She married Lester Damon of Hutchinson, KS. March 12, 1949. She is preceded in death by her parents, Ward and Alberta Gibson; sister Marihelen; sister Marlene; husband, Lester; son, Larry Damon; daughter, Christine Damon. Inez is survived by her sons, Ron Damon and Jack (Michelle) Damon; brother Gary Gibson; grandchildren, Kelly (Jeff) Grier, Kurt (Michelle) Cornejo; Kourtney Engles, Kirbie (Tyler) Condon, Amie (Brian) Martin, Britt (Amy) Damon; 13 great-grandchildren and much loved nieces, nephews and extended family. Visitation 1-8pm, family greeting 4-8pm Tuesday, at Hilyard-Smith Funeral Home, 507 S. Maple in Douglass. Funeral 10AM, Wednesday, March 29th, at the Douglass Church of Christ 201 W. 1st St. In lieu of flowers, a memorial is with The Parkinson Foundation of the Plains, 8900 State Line Rd #320, Leawood, KS 66206.
