Ila Clarene Skinner, age 94, of Belle Plaine, passed away Tuesday, July 1, 2014. Visitation 1-8 PM Thursday, July 3, with family greeting friends 6-8 PM, Hatfield-Smith Funeral Home, graveside service 10 AM Saturday, Belle Plaine Cemetery. Ila is preceded in death by her husband, Gerald; parents, John & Ivah Paton; and sisters, Lavena Hilfinger and Joann Parsons. Survivors: son, Jerry (Berdine Koger), of Wellington; brother-in-law, Darl Parsons, Geuda Springs; grandchildren, Steven Skinner (Linda), of Cumming, GA, and Matt Skinner (Laura), of Dripping Springs, TX; great-grandchildren, Cody, Lindy, Gabby and Logan.
