Hubert Edsel Cox

Hubert E. Cox, age 93, of Derby, retired home builder, passed away Wednesday, February 7, 2018. Visitation with family will be at 9 am, Thursday, February 15, with the funeral service at 10 am, both at Smith Mortuary, 1415 N. Rock Rd., Derby. Hubert was born in Rose Hill on December 13, 1924 to Virgil and Blanche Cox, they preceded him in death. He is also preceded by his wife, Lorraine, 4 brothers and 1 sister. Survivors include his daughters, Janet Carr (David), and Coleen Middaugh, all of Wichita; sister, Zeneta Herbers, Wichita; grandchildren, Trisha Kellenbarger (Lance), Angie Carr and Lee Ann Carr; great-grandchildren, Chris Kellenbarger, Audrey Allen, Alex, Ethan and Anna Balke.
