Herbert West

Herbert West, 87, died Tuesday, July 28, 2015. He was a retired Staff Sgt. serving with the United States Army during WWII, Korea and Vietnam. Survivors include his children, Rose Brewer, Barbara Moore, Joanna "JoJo" Dwyer, David West, Wanda West, Sandra Hamilton, Bobby West, Missy McVicker; 10 siblings; 13 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great-grandchildren. Herbert is preceded in death by his wife, Joanna. Viewing 2-8pm Sunday, August 2, 2015 at Smith Mortuary, 7031 S. Broadway, Haysville. Funeral service: 10am Monday, August 3, 2015, also at the mortuary. Burial in White Chapel Cemetery. A memorial is established with Heartland Hospice.
