Henry J. Steinman

Henry J. Steinman, 66, passed away Monday, May 7, 2018. He was born April 9, 1952 to Ernest and Doris (Herzfeld) Steinman in Deshler, NE. Henry served in the National Guard for 14 years while he worked for a CO-OP elevator in Hardy, NE. He worked for Ottaway Amusements for many years. Henry loved animals and music and was an outgoing and generous people person. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother-in-law, Thomas Lazarus; numerous aunts and uncles; and several cousins. Henry is survived by his siblings, Albert (Dawn) Steinman, Patricia Rhine, and Lavae (Dennis Hess) Lazarus; aunt, Pauline Fry; and many nieces and nephews. Memorial Service: 2 pm, Thursday, May 10, 2018 at the First United Methodist Church of Wellington, 202 W. Harvey Ave., Wellington, KS 67152. Memorial contributions may be made to the First United Methodist Church of Wellington.
