Henry Siders

Henry "Hank" Siders, 83, retired City of Wichita Police Officer, passed away Monday, September 23, 2013. He is survived by his wife of 47 years Jalea; two daughters, Carol Allen and her husband Norman, Janet Siders; son, David Siders and wife Linda; sister Viola Biegajski, all of Wichita; grandchildren Joshua Siders and wife Sarah, Aaron Siders and wife Stephanie, David McBride and Daniel McBride; 4 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents George and Lorene and his brother Francis. Memorials are established with the Police Benefit Fund and Kansas Humane Society. Viewing will be Thursday, 2-8pm with the family present from 6-8pm at Smith Mortuary, 1415 N. Rock Rd., Derby. The funeral service will be held Friday, September 27, 2013 at 2:30pm in the Smith Mortuary Chapel. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery.
