Henry R. Schaar

Henry R. Schaar, age 91, of Derby, retired Coleman Company employee, passed away Sunday, May 31, 2015. Visitation 1-8 PM Wednesday, June 3, Funeral Service 2 PM Thursday, June 4, both at Smith Mortuary, 1415 N. Rock Rd., Derby. Henry is preceded in death by his parents, Otto & Bertha Schaar; his son, Philip; and 3 brothers. Survivors include his wife of 67 years, Ileen; son Larry and loving daughter-in-law, Colleen Schaar, of Wichita; ex daughter-in-law, Pam Ragias, of Wichita; grandchildren, Jeremy (Nicole) Schaar, of Wichita, Ryan (Molly) Schaar, of Leawood, Matt (Amber) Banbury, of Oakland, CA, and Kelly Banbury of Munich, Germany; a future great-granddaughter to be of which he was so anxiously awaiting the arrival; and several nieces and nephews.
