Helen L. Barkley

Helen Louise Barkley, 86, passed away Wednesday November 23, 2022.

She was born July 13, 1936 in Muskogee Oklahoma to Charlie and Marjorie Shahan. Helen was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She enjoyed crocheting, gardening and spending time with her grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her parents, Brothers Wilburn & Harold. Sisters Alice, Betty, Dorothy, Faye, Penny, & Ruby. Sons Randy & Chuck. Survivors include her husband of 70 yrs. Orval C. (Red) Barkley Son, Ron Barkley, (Gina) Daughters Rhonda Stanwix, (Brian) Cheryl Schrader. Brother Leroy Shahan, (Cherry), 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

Visitation from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Smith Mortuary on Friday December 2, 2022. 7031 S Broadway Haysville, KS 67060

Funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm. Burial service to follow at Greenwood Cemetery.
