Helen Balster

Balster, Helen, 90, passed away Wednesday, August 24, 2011. Visitation 1-5 pm today, Smith Family Mortuary, 1415 N. Rock Rd., Derby. Rosary 7 pm tonight at St. Cecilia Catholic Church, 1912 W. Grand, Haysville. Mass of Christian burial 10 am Saturday, St. Cecilia Catholic Church. Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Everett Joseph “Scott” Balster and daughter, Brenda Ewing. She is survived by children Tootie (John) Caskey, Haysville; Brad Ewing, Wellington; Julie (Kent) Horsch, Haysville; Rane (Bradley) Case, Wellington; nine grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; siblings Elmer (Nina) Dreiling, Penokee, KS, and Albina Rome, Aurora, CO.
