Harlan J. Walton

BELLE PLAINE – Walton, Harlan J., age 70, farmer, loving husband, father, grandfather and brother, passed away Thursday, May 17, 2012. Graveside service 9:30am Monday, May 21, Council Hill Cemetery, Peck, KS with memorial service to follow at 11am Monday, May 21, First Mennonite Brethren Church, 8000 W. 21st St. N., Wichita. Harlan was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Leone Walton. Survivors include: wife of 41 years, Emma Walton; daughters, Jennifer (LtCol J. Keith) Purvis and Emily Deshong; grandchildren, Joseph, Jesse, Jonathan, Jeremiah and Julia Purvis, Brandon, Ashton and Gavin Deshong; siblings, Shirley Camp, Joe (Vicky) Walton and Bruce (Marjorie) Walton; many nieces, nephews and cousins. A memorial has been established with the Mennonite Brethren Missions
