Guy Jensen

Guy N Jensen, Jr, 79, passed away on February 23, 2022 in Wichita, Kansas. He was born to Guy Jensen, Sr. and Catherine Houser Jensen in Los Angeles, California. Guy worked for BNSF railroad and retired after 41 years. He loved his job as a diesel mechanic as well as the people he worked with – they became another family. Guy and his wife, Connie enjoyed 21 years of adventures in their travels. He valued time with his family, as this was the most important time spent. Guy is survived by his wife, Connie; step-children, Neal (Janell) Owings, Nick (Maribeth) Owings; sister, Cathy (Charlie Pike) Jensen; grandchildren, Lindsey, Alexis, Melia, and Nash Owings; several nieces, nephews, and friends. Visitation will be 4-8pm Monday February 28, 2022, with family present from 6-7pm. Funeral service is 11am Tuesday March 1, 2022, both at Culbertson-Smith Mortuary, 115 S. Seneca, Wichita, Kansas 67213. A memorial has been established with Good Shepherd Hospice, 7829 E Rockhill St #403, Wichita, KS 67206.
