Burris, Grant, 31,Surveillance Manager at Kansas Star Casino, passed away Monday, May 23, 2016.
Visitation 1-8 p.m., Monday, at Smith Mortuary, 7031 S. Broadway, Haysville. Graveside service 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, at Kansas Veterans' Cemetery, Winfield.
Grant was a loving husband, son, father, step-father, brother, and friend. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, who served four overseas tours.
He is survived by his wife, Lisa; children Aiden Burris and Avery Soetaert; step-children Leo McCusker and Andreas Morales; parents William and Wanda Burris and Angela Isaac; siblings Felicia (David) Welch, Allen (Devin) Burris, Roger Burris, Roger (Sophia) Silva; and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Grant's name can be made to Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758516, Topeka, KS 66675.
