Glorianne Rogers

Glorianne Rogers, age 84, of Mulvane, retired Boeing Company supervisor, passed away Wednesday, April 20, 2016. Visitation 2-8 PM Sunday, April 24, with family receiving friends 2-3 PM, Smith Mortuary, 501 SE Louis Blvd, Mulvane. Funeral service 11 AM Monday, Mulvane Christian Church, 502 Highland Park Dr., Mulvane. Glorianne was born November 30, 1931 in Burlington, KS to Russell Myrl and Lidia Ione Rodgers. She was happily married to Jackson Henry Rogers for 52 years. In addition to the 40 years she worked for Boeing, Glorianne was involved in the Mulvane Order of the Eastern Star and Lady Shriners. She also enjoyed quilting and playing with her two border collies, Mollie and Okie. She is preceded in death by her husband, her parents and her siblings, Charles Wesley, Roy Richard, Mary Ellen, Gerald Glen, Mable Ruth and an infant brother. Survivors include her daughter, Eva King, of Mulvane; granddaughters, Audrey Wilson, of Mulvane, Haley King, of Wichita, and Hilary (Hadrian Shankar), of Wichita; great-grandchildren, Kourtnee, Kayla, Anissa, Aidan and Gabriel. In lieu of flowers a memorials have been established with the Kansas Food Bank, 1919 E. Douglas, Wichita, KS 67211 and Shriners Hospitals for Children, Attn: Donations, 4400 Clayton Ave., St. Louis, MO 63110. Burial will be in Mulvane Cemetery.
