Gloria Jean Smolinski

Gloria Jean Smolinski, age 79, passed away Thursday, January 14, 2021. Gloria was born December 27, 1941 in Sault St. Marie, Ontario, Canada, to John and Katherine (LaBay) Medig. She married William Carl Smolinski, May 30, 1964, in Clinton Township, Michigan. He died May 16, 2004. In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Amy Smolinski; daughter Beverley Smolinski; brother, Walter Medig; grandchildren, Lance, Anthony, Amanda, Heather, Brianna and Mindy; 5 great-grandchildren. Gloria will be buried at Custer National Cemetery, Augusta, Michigan. May her soul, and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
