Schmidt, Glenda Jane, 80, passed away Monday, September 18th, 2023. She was born May 26th, 1943 to Irl and Jane Nelson, in Wichita, Kansas.

Glenda is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Franklin and son, Christopher Glen Schmidt. She is survived by her daughter, Julie (Warren) Owens; son, Brian Schmidt; daughter, Heather Kelly; grandchildren, Jordan (William) Bird, Ryan Owens, Brett (Lucy) Kelly, Sydney (Austin) Kelly; great-grandchildren, Korie, Charlie and Sammie Bird and Wyatt Kelly, Audrey Carriker; sister, Nancy (Steve) Paulin and more friends than could be mentioned.

Visitation is 6:00 to 8:00 pm Thursday, September 21st, 2023, at Smith Mortuary - Mulvane, 501 SE Louis Blvd. Mulvane, KS 67110. Funeral Service is 1:00 pm, Friday, September 22nd, 2023, at the Mulvane United Methodist Church, 107 S. Central, Mulvane, Kansas 67110. Interment to follow at Littleton Cemetery.
