Geraldine Ann Human

Geraldine Human, 83, retired registered nurse from St Francis Hospital, passed away on Monday, October 1, 2018. Geraldine was born on August 14, 1935, in rural Derby to Gerald and Lewellyn LeVelle. She married Dale Human on August 12, 1956. Geraldine loved many things which included God, family, friends, cooking, reading, and animals…especially her dogs. Her sewing skills knew no bounds with her most prized creations were making pillow cases, quilts, and bridal party dresses. She loved traveling and belonged to the Sonic Sam’s Club later becoming one of the Assistant State Directors for the Good Sam’s. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Dale. Geraldine is survived by her children, Kim Human, Eugene (Bud) Human, Gina (Larry) Stephens, Scott (Kandy) Human; 9 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

Visitation 5-8pm, Wednesday, October 3rd, 2018, at Smith Mortuary, Derby 1415 North Rock Road Derby, KS; Funeral Service 10 AM Thursday, October 4th, 2018, at Pleasantview Baptist Church 1335 North Buckner Street Derby, KS. In lieu of flowers, a memorial is with the American Diabetes Association 608 W Douglas Ave, Wichita, KS 67203.
