Gerald Glenn Zimmerman, age 53, of Derby, broadcasting and sports industry, account executive, passed away Tuesday, June 28, 2016. Visitation 1-8 PM Friday, July 8, with family receiving friends 5-7 PM, at Smith Mortuary, 1415 N. Rock Road, Derby. Funeral service 2 PM Saturday, July 9, Cross Way Church of Derby, 421 N. Westview, Derby. Gerry is preceded in death by his parents, Versal & Beatrice Zimmerman; and sister, Barbara Nesbitt. Survivors include his wife, Aggie; sons, Bryant Zimmerman (Kylie), of Derby, and Anthony Curtis (Kimberly), of Maple Grove, MN; brothers, Josh Mattox and Mike Mattox (Marilyn), all of Michigan; sister, Debbie Oakes (Mike), of Michigan; grandchildren, Joel, Sean, Andrew and Tacy Curtis; and his Cross Way Church family.
